New Garage Door Installation (Hurricane-Rated) in Coconut Creek, FL
All of Broward County is in Florida's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, so a replacement door must carry a product approval (a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance or a Florida Product Approval) for your opening size and wind load.
Signs you need it
- Door is damaged beyond repair
- Door predates current hurricane product approvals
- You want better insulation or a new look
- Repeated repairs on the same door
What to know in Coconut Creek
Coconut Creek, known as the Butterfly Capital of the World and home to Butterfly World in Tradewinds Park, mixes single-family homes with 55-plus and condo communities. Replacement is permitted work in Broward. Your provider should pull the permit and include the product approval paperwork. See our permit guide for details.
Local tip: In condo or villa communities, ask the association whether the door, opener, or both are owner or association responsibility.
